Looks like Britney Spears’ driving techniques haven’t improved much lately.  While driving on the 101 freeway at 8pm last night, she was involved in a 3 car crunch… while going 10-15 mph.  Apparently she was putting on makeup while en route to dinner where she was to meet her mom.  Isn’t this something one should do at home before getting behind the wheel??  We think so.  Naturally one of the “victims” complained of neck pain this morning & is going to seek chiropractic therapy.  We all know how painful those 10mph impacts are! Uh huh. Go for the green!

Paris Hilton’s little misdemeanored 18 year old bro has pleaded no contest in the DUI charges brought against him from his February 2008 arrest.  For that he got 3 years probation and no license for a year …. big deal… hopefully he got a hefty fine so L.A. can use the $$ to get some streets repaved or have a new metro system installed or something.  There’s also a lot of trash on the sides of the freeways - can he pick that up for us??

Robin Wright Penn and Sean Penn have called off their divorce proceedings which commenced late last year.  Isn’t making up great??

The late Heath Ledger’s uncle is striking the iron while it’s hot by making claims that Heath may have fathered a child when he was 17 years old and dating a 25 year old at the time.  If there’s any truth to this claim, the probate battle will get U-G-L-Y! Calling all 36 year old ladies down under who had a fling with Heath 11 years ago!

Richie Sambora is up the creek!  He was pulled over last night on DUI suspicion in Laguna Beach at around 11p.m. in his Hummer.  After failing field sobriety tests, he was taken into custody and released at 4 a.m. today.  That’s not the worst of his problems… apparently his 10 year old daughter Ava (mom is Heather Locklear) was in the car as well - along with another juvenile and another adult female.  It is possible that Richie can be charged with child endangerment - yikes!  The police that pulled over Sambora then called Heather Locklear, who authorized the other woman in Sambora’s car to drive Ava home.  Why didn’t she get behind the wheel in the first place if she was ok to drive & Richie wasn’t???
